Default Fuel Injection Clogged?

Yesterday I ran out of gas while driving, well I refilled and today it seems like my truck is missing, but im pretty sure only thing that has occurred is that when my turck was trying to suck the last few drops of fuel from my tank that it prolly sucked up some of the dirty grime from the bottom of the tank...

Is this true?

and!

Whats the best way to clean the fuel injector and get everything running smoothly again.

sometimes the sending unit craps out so wen you get to a cirten point it "runs out of gas" even thow there is gass in the tank mine did it about 2 months after i bought it sed i had a quorter tank and i ran out of gas i thought the gage was messed up and it was empty so i had my dad come out and fill it (i wanset far from home) but it wouldent take what it should to fill it so i took it back to where i got it (i didnet buy it new) but hey fixed it for me and dident charge me anything

You probably got some condensation in your tank when it was that low. In these cold temps (assuming you live in one) my truck will sometimes feel like that whewn I let it get to low. Fill it up at least 3/4 of the way and it goes away.

I've used BG44k FI cleaner and it seems to work pretty good. Someone also suggested using an octane booster with Techron FI cleaner... I've tried that one as well and it seems to also work pretty good. seemed like my milage went up with the 2nd setup.

if you use and FI cleaner... use it in higher concentration than what's recommended on the bottle... 1/2 tank for a big bottle or 1/3 tank for a small bottle...
