Default Help on checking for plenum leak

To start out I am by no means mechanically inclined. With that being said, is checking for this leak something I can perform?

If so, where do I start?

What do I take off?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mugs

its not ahrd at all... if you got a 1/2" socket and socket wrench and the ability to pivot your elbow in a rotating motion then your set.. a monkey could do it...and id pay good money to see that!

Intake leak? I always use a can of ether(starting fluid).
Just spray around possible locations of the intake and if the engine RPMs go up, you found your leak!
