Headers?
I am soon to get headers put on in like a week or 2, but i am wondering what i should look at. i want something good, but for a reasonable price also.if u could help me out id be greatful. thanks.
big things to look for is the mating flange..should be 3/8" inch thick or better..anything thinner would tend to warp under rapid heatup and cooldowns
on my truck i got edelbrock shorties with the titech coating.. i like the performance alot but im on the second set after 4 months due to rapid rusting..the new ones been on for about a week and no troubles so far

I'm using gibson headers on my 96 5.2. No problems, except its have the tranny rebuilt as we speak, but headers are fine. Big flange stainless steel. Took a little low end tourqe away but it still gets up and goes.
If you can wait a few weeks, I am going to sell my JBA/Gibson headers off my 97 pretty cheap. You can send me a PM if you want. I am getting some long tubes.
Also, FYI, you will want to get a mopar computer to really get anything out of the headers. When I put them on, it was as if I hadnt done anything. The computer made all the difference. Its because of the speed density, it doesnt know that more air is moving through it since there is no mass air meter.
