You can't tow much with them unless they are manual lockers (ie Selectrac, ARB, Eaton E-Locker) and I don't think that any of those are available for the Chrysler 9.25 axle that you have in your truck.

Low price and high quality are hard to get

Detroit is probably your best bet, unless you plan on doing a lot of towing.

I've heard good things about Detriot. If your looking for a selectable Detriot makes an electric one. I've also heard good things about the newer OX Brand selectable locker.

I say go detroit. best out there. if you have a 5 speed towings not that bad as long as you hold the clutch down when you go around a corner. with and auto its alittle risky.

It all depends on what your going to use it for and how often your going to use it

Cheap and tough is the detriot locker, but its not selectable, it engages itself when X amount of tourqe is applied to the rear wheels.

I myself would get the Ox Locker. Cable selectable, so you dont have to worry about air lines being pinched off like the ARB air locker. Its also strong, and comes with a diff cover thats massively strong. Plus the nice thing about selectable lockers is you can turn them off for your on street driving and not wear your rear tires out when you make a turn.

If your looking for really cheap get a spool, damn near indestrctable, but your rear end will pay the price for being constantly "locked in"

too bad the problem here is no one makes a selectable locker of any type for our rear end. you really have 3 choices. 1 get a auto locker, 2 get an LS, swap in a Dana 60 and get an electric or ...

Agreed, I have been looking at the options too, and I am probably going to go with the Detroit Truetrac. This seems like the only logical option for me. I'm not sure what I am going to do with the front...To be honest, I really don't know how a LS would work with the Dana 44 when I am not in 4x4.

Detroit's functions as a LS when not locked, and I don't want an ARB...I live in a high moisture environment and I have heard too many things about airlines having problems with condensation in them. My concern was when the detroit wasn't locked, it would be an LS, but will that mess with everyday, non 4x4 driving.
