Sputtering ??

Default Sputtering ??

Ok so the other morning I went out to start the truck 1500 4X4 5.2L 5 speed. and it sputters and dies restart and everythigs fine. I know this is the beginning for something thats starting to go what might it be? Thankls for your input.

Fuel pump maybe? If you turn the key to start does it run for a few before firing.

I havent really noticed it never really have I will have to pay more attention. BTW it hasnt set any codes in the PCM

I would put some dry gas in and see what that does, sometimes it could just be that you have some water in the gas and its going through. If that doesnt do any good then take it someplace to see if the fuel pump is good.

New cap & rotor lately?They like to corrode.
When I pulled the Durango's it looked like the north pole!
May help.
