Just checking to see if anyone knows where I can get a set of OEM floor mats for a decent price??? I know I could probably go to my dealer and pick up a set, but i'd probably need to order them and wait a while. Any idea of online retailers that might have them in stock?? What other years will fit in a 1996 RAM? I am assuming anything up to '02??

Also, the drivers seat of my 1996 Ram 1500 sport is basically destroyed. The cover is ripped on the drivers side bolster all the way through and I basically sit on the metal of the frame when I drive since the padding is also totally gone. Any ideas on how to go about fixing this (obviously cheaply). Can I get the foam padding from the dealer and also a new OEM cover? The truck has power seats and I can't just replace the drivers seat since the whole seat is welded together (to the middle section and the passenger side). Any ideas??

well for floor mats it check out husky liners (google it i dont have a site off hand) and as for the seat to do it cheapley id get some foam to replace whats missing (dosent half to be from a dealer any try a craft or sewing place) put that in the seat then get some nice seat covers fia ones are nice and have a little padding too (again google it)

 

Definitely go with the husky liners! I got a set for my truck and I love them. They do an excellent job of keeping the mudd/water/snow off your carpet.

Honestly, you are in a truck, so go with something heavy duty plastic or a really thick rubber.

 

there are lots of stores selling floor mats, just look for a reliable dealer that won't charge you with lots of $$$.

 

after seeing the husky liners I decided that I wanted Nifty Catch-all Extreme plus liners

I got a 1 piece floor mat that covers the whole front, its great for yooper winters and my muddy boots

I got it for about $100 I think and consider it money well spent
