Default Electrical Help.

Hi All, My freind has a 2000, Dodge Ram 2500 5.9TD and has stupidly reversed the jumper leads while trying to start the vehicle, I being a freind and also an autoelectrician have been stuck in the frame to sort out this problem. The dynamo has been tested and is fine although there seems to be a dead short when trying to re-connect the now fully charged batteries which is blowing the main fuse. Being in Scotland, UK, and with no wiring schematic I was wondering if anyone here would be able to help? Thanks for looking.
