Go over to pavementsucks.com there is a guy on there that actually did this mod. I guess the engine bolted up and fit perfectly in the bay. He has a whole write up on it.
The guy goes by superhawk2002...search for posts by him, he is the one that put the CTD in the 1500.

I found that post yall are talkin about over on pavement trucks, the title of the post is "TW's DS issues! My Dodge Buildup - Diesel swap & lift" search for that and you should find it. I think if I had the cash, I would have to do that to my truck!

I'm a member of PavementSucks...superhawk2002 did a nice job in that conversion...he isn't the first, but he is about the only one I know who has done a write up about it...he is still having some issues, but they are not related to the CTD conversion.

depending on what kind of tranny you have. The 46RE most likely in ur truck you can rebuild it for the CTD it will require a larger drum and more clutches in the clutch pack, from what ive been told it should bolt right up to the cummins.
