Default throttle body spacer UNinstall

previous owner had added a throttle body spacer to the truck...i have read the info on these things, looked like alot of people lost power and MPG's. i would prefer to change it back to stock. i haven't taken a close look at it yet but, has anyone installed one of these things? and if so, is it worth the effort to remove it, or should i just leave that little red crapper in there?

I would remove it myself, just because its so easy mostly.
To remove it take off your air cleaner and take the 4 screws on top of the TB off. and slide it out.

You may need to get a stock set of bolts...the ones that hold it on. IIRC, spacers come with longer bolts because...well...they add space and the stock ones wouldn't be long enough to go through both the TB and the spacer. You may be able to make it work with the longer ones though.
