Um...if it's different, I'd get a set of fuel rails from a 97 motor....ones that will work. The LAST thing you wanna be "rigging up" on a motor is the fuel supply. It's a good way to start an engine fire.

Yeah listen to burning, aphro rigging the fuel system is not a wis choice to make, if you are suicidal, fine have at it, but otherwise, no. Also check with a person at autozone, or maybe try Napa if you dont have an autozone near you

I agree with the burning rom, I would make sure that I went to an auto store or something along the lines to make sure that it fits appropriately. Probably one of the worst things that you can do is try and rig it together without having it fit appropriately

its hard to see but inside that fuel fitting..where hte big end slides over the little end and clips..therse 2 o rings INSIDE the big end tube..if the o rings arnt the correct size ..obviouslly youll have leaks and sparks and fires... witch are cool and fun.. but kinda can be a pain in the **** lol

Ii had to replace the injector rail on my 97 and the updated rail had a different fuel line. You can splice a rubber FUEL hose into place, but you need to make sure that the clamps have something to keep the hose from popping off.
I used compression fittings and just slid the nut out of the way so just the ferrels were at the ends. This will give the ends a "hump" so if the hose does slide, the clamp will catch on the hump.
