Default Idileing?

What does your Truck idle at? Mine is at 6000 Rpms most of the time...Was jsut wondering if thats normal for a Ram?

mine idles between 550-750rpm

haha yeah just alittle bit.. mines about 600 most the time.. sometimes 700.. i love how these trucks sound when you 1st start them up when its cold out.. and the choke is on and its ideling around 1,000... sounds like a badass motor i wish it could sound like that all the time

yah i hope 6000 is a type-o lol should be between 500-1000 if its an auto N and P will idle higher then 123 O/D ( thow i dont know how youd idel in 23 and O/D lol) and R

yea that a bout right... normally idles higher when it starts from dead cold...
