why whats so bad about that. if your going to be one of those guys who is just going to bash dodge and try to get people pissed off just let me know now! its kind obvious you dont own a ram so i dont know what your doing here.
I do own a a 2005 HEMI Ram, but I don't get to drive the lemon very much because it's always being serviced. I've had the truck for 8 months and during the time I've owned it I've put more miles on my 1982 VW Jetta that my uncle has owned since it was new than I have the BRAND NEW truck. I wish Dodge would just buy it back from me. I'm not a Dodge hater... I just hate my truck. If they bought it back I'd even buy another one... I just have a LEMON!!!

maby you should look into lemon laws and such...i never have cuz i havent been lucky enuf to get one but ive herd of them

100 MPH???

Jeez... please call me next time your on the road with that thing going over the speed limit. My phone number is 305-382-3417.

That thing could just explode at any second. If it were a Toyota or Nissan it would be okay, but not a Dodge.

what a moron...

I didn't know I was gonna open that can of worms!
At least my truck will still be a truck in 10 years.
Thanks for the thread ORT,but it was more of an issue with engine getting gutless and just stopping the pulling effect. The RPMs weren't high enough for the gearing to be the problem. My '97 had 3.91s and it would run up to the rev limiter at 118.
As far as high speeds...I think I'm more than capable.
I'm well over a million miles, and thats just in the big rigs.
Run NYC every day and hadn't had an accident there yet(knock on wood).
I'm just not happy with the 318, thats all.

And BTW...

i forgot you said it sounds like its loosing fuel. idk why but someone might have lowered the top speed limiter. when it hits it it start defueling the motor. you also say you hate the 5.2 compaired to your wifes 5.9. you also have to remember that your ram is almost a ton more weight and is desined for hauling and stuff like that. its not a fast hiway racer.

Well My bro got his 1997 2500 extended cab Cummins with like 8" suspension lift and huge tires up to..... 107 then he got worried about one of the wheels coming off... Not something you want to do with 35s or bigger
