95 Ram not getting fuel checked fuel pump
I have a 95 Ram 1500 2wd with the 360. It is not getting fuel so I replaced the relay under the hood and checked the fuse on the dash but those were not the problem. So I dropped the tank went out and bought a new pump but when I plugged it in it would run for a few seconds then shut off which is what the old pump would do when I tried it after it was out of the tank. Is there some other type of sensor or relay that could be causing this problem. I know its not getting fuel from the tank because if I dump fuel into the top of the engine it runs until its gone. Any suggestiopns out there ??????? Thanks
I don't know where it is, but the presure regulator might be causing something here. Are you sure the injector fuel rails have fuel pressure. If they do than it will be an electrical signal issue with the injectors. One or the other, the injectors are not firing or they have no fuel.
