Default suspension

I have a fairly stock 96 dodge ram 4x4. What is the best suspension to get and what size? I haven't lifted yet unfortunatly but intend to do so some day. Also I noticed the bottom leaf spring on the right rear is a little tweaked, can I just hammer it back in to place or what do I need to do to fix that?

You asked a pretty broad question.
the best suspension is going to depend on what you are planning to do with it.

what size tires do you want to fit? Is this just going to be a pavement pounder?

we need more info

Depends on how much money you want to spend, you can go from a 300 dollar Rancho to 450 dollar Skyjacker . Both kits are nice for a daily driver .

It's mainly a daily driver. I do play a little hard when I go camping about once a month during the summer. I have RS5000's on right now and I know I need to replace them. When the time comes I would like a 5" lift with 35x12.5 tires on it but that's not happening anytime soon. My suspension right now is riding pretty ruff so I know it needs replaced. Do I need to replace the springs in the front at the same time?

If you mean ruff as in stiff, then get off the RS5000 shocks. I am using them and they are tight.

If you are refering to worn out then it's a whole nuther can of worms.
3" lift and 33's, $300- $500 for lift. Price of tires. New Shocks.
5" lift and 35's, $600-$1100 for lift. Tires and shocks. 35" tires not much more than 33's. Get over 35" and price starts to double..
