RE: of course, another tranny question?????
YES...exact same thing happened to me a couple months ago. I ended up having to replace my tranny that hurt the wallet, ALOT! Mine first started doing that. then it would be fine for a few days, then eventually things got worse. Usually it happened after driving on the highway for a period of time. Near the end of my trannmission's life, it would completely throw itself out of gear, until one day, it just wouldn't go back in. I felt ashamed to be broken down on the side of the road in my Dodge. The only reason they make curbs is for Fords! My problem was a plugged up tranny cooler. Since the tranny wasn't being cooled, the inside welded itself all together which is needless to say, A BIG PROBLEM! I don't know if whats happening to your truck would be the same problem or not, just thought I'd share my bad experience.
