1500 3rd gen rims will fit 1500 2nd gen Rams. The bolt patterns are the same.

Not sure about them fitting over the drums on the older 2nd Gens though. The drum on the 1500 might be small enough for it to work. If not, you could always do some grinding. [>:]

I was told by a wheel and tire place that sells used take-offs that the new Ram 1500 17 inch and 20 inch wheels would fit my truck (99) so I assume that they would fit all 94-01 Rams with out modification.

yup... they fit over the drums,, assuming you were talkin about the 20's .. if not and your talkin about other size factory wheels it generally runs the same as aftermarket wheels... 15's are touchy...only certain brands fit .. 16's 17's will fit... as long as the bolt pattern is the same 5X5.5

I'm having problems with putting 20's on the front of my 1998 ram 1500 2WD. The back ones went on fine but the front ones seem to lack about 1/2" from gettin all the way flush with the rotor. Anyone had this problem?

I've got some 17" 3G (03 1500) ram wheels for my truck (I'm in Iraq, so I can't use em yet). well, actually My buddy has almost the same truck as me and he put them on his truck because he coudln't afford new tires, so I told him he could use them. They fit on his truck (99 1500 QC) just fine. Tires are a bit more for the 17's. I got mine on ebay for 130 with tires... shipping was around 200, so for 330 I got a set of wheels, and some tires my friend can wear out for me lol.
Short answer, they fit, and I guess they look cool.
