all my problems fixed
decided to take my truck to a "professional" due to the problems ive been describing. Hooked up his little computer and said the O2 sensor was not puttin out any voltage. Charged me 35 bucks to tell me this. 35 bucks wasnt bad IMO b/c i had no idea what the hell was wrong with the truck. then he went on to tell me that it would cost me 170 for him to replace it and reset my pcm. told him to have a nice day and i left. went to auto zone, picked up my O2 sensor, replaced it, pulled and cleaned all the plugs, reset the pcm and the truck runs like the day i bought it. All is well until the next problem arises. thanks for all y'allz help. i really appreciate it and hope y'all will be able to help me in the future just as well. thanks again DF.
glad to see it workin good.... did you pop any codes when the truck was running crappy? imgonna start cleanin out the 02's when i change the oil..regularly
what brand of 02 went in the truck? keep an eye on it b/c ive heard the bocshe universal ones from advanced and auto can crap out really early.

Not to jack the thread but since everyone seems to reccomend the NGK brand 02 sensors where can you get them? I haven't really looked but I just wondered if one of you guys knew off the top of your head.
codes i threw over a week an a half, 12,21, 23, 51, 52, 55. 12 was because i reset the pcm and 55 is end of code. 23 was map sensor, 51 was running to lean, 52 was running to rich. i just got the one from the auto parts store. cost me like 80 bucks, plug right up and ran like a champ. i think it was bosche. it runs so im happy..................................until the next problem
