Default codes galore, change every time you clear them

OK guys, anyoneknow why my 98 quad 4x4 just started having lots of issues with tranny codes? It only goes into 1st if you shift manually and the overdirve quit working? It worked fine until my battery had a low cell and then it just freaked out......still pulls and shifts fine after you get it into 1st, I think it is in safe mode, but tried unhooking the battery overnight and it cleared, but coded again as soon as I cranked it up. Checked some of the codes... before clearing them it had an "input output sensor", "torque converter", "solenoid a electrical", and "manufacturer transmission control" errors. After clearing them now there's only 2.... "solenoid a electrical" and "engine timing control".

How do I reset it? I've unhooked the battery cable and the check engine light does not come on until a few seconds after the truck has been running instead of staying on...

reset it by removing the NEG bat cable off the BAT and turning the key to START or CRANK possition and hold it there for at the minimum of 20 seconds... that discharges all them neat little capaciters in the PCM keeping the retarded memory.. and kicks the PCM into automatic learn mode..
