I think your gonna be dissapointed. My suggestion to you is lock in 4WH, and hope for the best.

 

2006 f-250 5.4 has 300 hp.. so unless your pushing atleast 280 you might have a chance

 

Lock in 4WH??? On a drag race?????? On Pavement?????????????

 

NO ... it's all about the torque, not the horsepower.

 

gear ratios matter alot too,


my 99 ram 1500 5.2 has no low end, but a very nice top end.

whereas my dads 01 150 has a tight low end, but not a very high top end.


i'd say that the race would be close, but it'll only be within a truck length for the winner

 

well we raced and i SMOKED HIM!!! I beat him by about 3-3 1/2 truck lengths it was on a this country road up north measured a half mile and had people at the finish line it was great i had him from the get go then he started to catch up but just couldnt.
