Left rear door won't open
Are you sure that the door is unlocking? Just checking because I have had multiple locking mechanisms on vehicles go over the years where unlocking from the outside stopped working. Can you open the door from the inside ok?

Oh ok, its just a kick out door? Not a full door. Well Defintely going to have to take off the door panel for it and look underneathe the weather plastic. Sounds like that might be a little hard if you cant get the door open at all. If you can see the door latch you might be able to pop it open with a screw driver, I'm not sure what you can see with the door closed. Hopefully you can get the door panel off.

apparently the lower latches are known for freezing up....with the door closed.
I just had to replace mine, but luckily mine wouldn't latch on the bottom, instead of wouldn't un-latch.
It was like $70 new from the stealership, but at least I can latch the door now.
if it helps at all, the lower brackets on mine are rusted to crap, but I wire brushed them when I got the truck, and spray them with lube. the brackets on the door frame.
try spraying some PB Blaster in there.
but seriously, also check to see if the control cable snapped, or came off one of its connection points.
those door panels are easy to pull off.
just pull the screw in the non moving handle area. remove the screw that holds the moving handle in.
and yank on it around the window.
just be carefull not to break it near the front of the door where it is just a narrow strip.
(check for extra screws first)
