Ok guys heres my problem, when i start my truck the everything starts up fine and no problems there but all the instument lights except the Air Bag light and the ABS light stay on and my power windows dont work and my speedometer doesnt work. The tach and every other gauge works just not the speedo. Could this be an ignition problem or what? thats the only thing I could think of. Because before my windows and speedo and all instrument lights would go off if I tilted my steering wheel all the way down but when i tilting it in any position other then all the way down nothing would work but now nothing will work even if i put the steering wheel in any position! any help would be appreciated! thanks

I hate electrical problems...you've pretty much diagnosed it yourself...if moving the steering column fixed it before, and now won't fix it, a wire has probably totally broken in there...possibly the BCM or ignition switch, but likely first thing I'd check is the steering column wiring.

I sounds like it might be a Ground problem.
Check ALL the grounds... clean them up and make sure they have good contact.
This is an easy fix you can do.
If it IS the problem you just SAVED yourself a lot of $$$$$.

Well i found it guys. It was a loose wire in the ignition area. I just re-soldered the connections and everything works great!

Which wire was it by chance?? I just developed this problem on mine, except mine won't even crank over - ot stranded me and had to be turned over via underneath at the starter with the throttle applied inside...Originally Posted by antz_ram
