I am 99% sure this is the cat that is causing me problems, i just wanted to make sure. For awhile its been rattling and finally today, on the highway, slowed down for a toll, it stalled, and then from there on its been running really rough. Then after it was sitting for a good 8 hours, started it, ran really rough, then i got on the highway and was at about 2,500rpms - 3,000rpms and after a good 20 minutes it ran fine, still a little rough, but did not stall at all. Did it blow alot of it out? I have an appointment already set up for a high-flow to be welded in and its gonna run me $165.00 (cat and labor included), is this a good deal? And do you think this is definitely my cat?

kinda sucks that you live in an area where its mandatory to have a cat on..

but yes 165 for a highflow cat and labor is quite inexpensive.
