I want to take off the rear panel that the seatbelt comes through so I can clean some junk out of the corner. Does anyone know what size torx socket it is? Can someone please check for me?

 

I believe its a T50 bit, i just bought one today to take out the seatbelts in a bronco and to take off the top =)

 

Taking an educated guess, I'd say T50 or T55...these cover probably 98% of seat belts in the past 10 years...GM started using Torx Plus, but me thinks Dodge is normal Torx for the truck...I'd check mine, but it's 50 miles away, getting some stuff fixed that the dealer supposedly "serviced"...I'll check Monday night when I get it back if you haven't got it yet.

That would be great. They are just regular torx. I have a set but they are 1000 miles away since I moved and won't have a chance to finish moving for a few months. I'll just buy the one I need.

 

Well, got my truck back a day late (Tues.)...looking at it, it's hard to tell...T50 or T55 for sure...gonna have to bring home my Torx bits from work...will let you know tomorrow evening, if you haven't already got it. I probably won't see a reply until tomorrow night, so will bring them home either way.

 

T50 confirmed, just like the Bronco as above...now hop back in here so you can see this :P
