hey guys i have a 99 ram 2500 and i was wonderin how simple it was to charge my a/c i went to auto zone and bought 2 cans of refrigerant and ive never done this before and i didnt want to screw anything up so any help would be greatly appreciated and by the way guys Happy Easter!

I don't know much about it either - i tried to do mine myself and ended up overcharging it which didn't work either. I ended up taking it to Jiffy Lube and having them run their machine on it. Works great since they did it.

Do you have an Advance auto parts in your area? I bought a kit from them last Thursday that came with three cans of refrigerant the hose/gauge and a cd that plays on your computers media player that shows how to do it. It was $30.

I went to Autozone and got the hose with a gauge on it and a couple of cans also. Most autoparts have them. Just shake the can good and the connector is just behind the passenger side headlight at the top of the hood opening. Too damn easy. After the second year of adding, I might try and find the leak this year.
