I just bought a 2001 Ram 5.9L and I can never leave my vehicles alone. I own a shop and have a chassis dyno (work mostly on Fords). I ordered the Airaid mostly because it was cheap. Just for fun, I also bought there throttle body spacer. I should have it tomorrow and will post before and after dyno numbers.

ok, so im new here, and i have acquired recently a 94 Dodge ram, rear wheel drive V8 5.2L Magnum. id like to put a cold air intake on it, and have see after market intake systems on e-bay and stuff. because i have a magnum, does it mean i need a special intake or anything? im just looking for some help (like i said, im new to all of this). anything would be helpful.

The magnum means nothing, jst search for and air intake for a 94 ram 1500 5.2 and it will fit your truck. In all honesty tho with a 94 instead of an air intake, I would put new plugs, wires, change the tranny fluid, and flush the radiator.....if it hasnt been done recently.

In defense of Airaid, I have had mine for 1.5 yrs and it hasnt rusted on the inside yet. I think they are all good except some of those cheapies on Ebay. I modded mine and use no box, sits directly in the airflow, did not like the idea of relocating all the crap on that side of the motor that K&N wants you to.
I see that K&N had some problems with there piping at one time also, so its a crap shoot.
