the only reason to choose a forged piston would be if you are running boost, or nitrous. otherwise a cast piston is more street friendly.

Forged pistons are greater stregth, and higher cost. Cast pistons can be used if you dont plan on running boost or nitrous, or can even be used for light boost/nitrous. (4-5 lbs boost no more than 100 shot nitrous)

As mentioned, forged is for running boost. Best choices are Eagle, Ross, Keith Black and Wiseco.
I have Eagle forged billet 4340 stroker crank, Eagle forged H rods and Wiseco forged custom blower pistons for my 408 project Im working on.

Any of the names listed above are all good quality. Eagle now sells complete kits (crank/rods/pistons) that are already balanced which is a bonus. Chances are buying that many parts you will save a few bucks, time and machine work.
