Default headlight failure

long story but basically my passenger side headlight will not work on the low/normal beam, but on high beams it comes on fine. checked the wiring behind it and did not find any obivous problems. tried a new bulb in it and expierenced the exact same problems. checked all of the fuses and non were blown (kinda assumed this also given that the other headlight is still working and the brights are working) so where i'm at right now is i have no idea where the problem could be, can anyone help direct me in the correct direction to find this problem and maybe how to correct it?

You have a multimeter? Of so check out that wiring and see if its getting power. That right there will tell you if its a bulb problem or what it is.

nah i dont have one...but i prbly can get my hands on one, i'm pretty sure its not the bulb though because i took the bulb from the working light and tried it, so its somewhere in the wiring
