Default NEED HELP

I am doing my front right passenger ball joint, i have everything off except the only problem i have is the bolt on the lower ball joint, i do not need to replace that one though. So, techinically can i push the upper ball joint out with the spindle still on??? Also when i took out the axle stub there was a little fluid that came out, little puddle inside axle housing, is this normal because of the small seal at the end of the spline???

Thanks

if you didnt drain the fluid first before you took the axle shaft out then yea theres gonna be puddling.. or even enough to run through the axle tube..your seal still may be good....

i would assume it would be possible to press out the upper ball joint and leaving the lower still in.. although i could imagine it giving you a hard time.. you can give it a shot and see what happens.. im pretty sure if the lower BJ is still good i think you can press it out and press it back in.. then again the press in press out action could screw it up..

I've ran into a problem, when i was pressing the upper ball joint out, the inner core snapped and it pressed that out. Basically, the threaded part is fine, but right above that it seperated from the rest of the ball joint and snapped through the top of the joint. Now if i could get the nut on the bottom ball joint to budge to take it out i could take the spindle out and wack the bottom of the upper ball joint to get it out. What do i do??? I need a larger compressor for my impact gun, right now i am calling around to some of my dad's friends, which one of them, had a shop when he was younger, so he might now some tricks.
