Well exhaust is all done and done. Heres 2 vids and a few pics of my younger brother welding it on. All added tubing and muffler are 3". Tip is a Summit Racing stainless 15degree slash cut. 3" in 3.5" out rolled tip

Well before this I had it dumped right after the cat for a few weeks until I got all my pipes together, so Comparing no muff dumped to a muffler isnt fair. I lost low end when I put the muffler on vs nothing, but nothing I would worry about. I still seem to squeel the tires when I get on it. I am just wanting to see the power difference when I get headers, highflow cat, and a fastman tbody on there. Possibly throw in a crank pulley as well! My mpg did go up .1 though, could just be the weather though

 

o ok. how did it sound when you just dumped after the cat? would you happen to have a sound clip or video of that? id love to hear it because im doin my exhaust soon and if it sounds good ill do that to save $$

It sounds baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Its loud, too loud imo. Theres also that loud cracking/poping noise too which sounds horible I think [&:]

EDIT: I'm refering to dumping it after the cat, not your new exhaust

 

With it being dumped WOT was awesome, loud and sounded mean. But regular driving it sounds like a redneck **** box and I was kinda embaressed. No vid or sound clip because it was just temp. Exhaust is cheap if you know the right people. My setup cost me a little over 100$ id say. 40 series muffler ($55), 3" pipe($10) , tip ($20, 2 45angles ($20) and a reducer ($7). My younger brother is a welder so we just welded it up in my driveway

If you want cheap, get a glasspack, or a thrush or summit muffler. 20-30$ and your on your way
