Default 1999 5.9 to cummings conversion q's

Okay, major decision time, I blew my ram 4x4 5.9 gasser, picked up a replacment for it and ready to pull out and install, now the thing is I have a chance to pick up a severly rear wrecked 2001 cummings turbo 4x4 complete from a friend dirt cheep, it also has the 2500 axles and suspension. now my question is how much change over would it be to set the two side by side and convert it to the cummings, not concerned about the axle and suspension I've done that sort of thing, more concerned with, fuel tank, lines, wiring, motor mounts etc----is it going to be a simple change over or Big Ones to do.... any info tips or help would be great

It's quite a bit of work. Here's some reading to get you started: http://www.pavementsucks.com/forums/...highlight=swap

Swapping the 5.9 would be a simple change over, swapping in the 5.9B would be way more involved, but you'll have everything you'll need right there in the 2500.

BTW, it's Cummins not Cummings

Hmm, hows the frame on the wrecked truck? If its still good just put your body on it, much simpler =)
