Well, my mother purchased a service plan with my truck, which means oil changes and tire rotations... Took it to the stealership, and low and behold, when they rotated my tires, the lug nuts are splitting in two... i have bare lug nuts on my tires now and some plastic piece coming off the lugs that was used for decoration... =( Looks like I gotta get some new lugs now =/

im guessing they used an impact on them. my impact tore the covers loose on mine too.

 

The accorn caps on those Lugs suck, I bought new ones a while back cause mine looked like crap. They're like 20-30 only I think for new ones.

 

I had the chrome rims on my Trans Am replaced under warranty (peeling), went to pick it up the next day, and noticed a black lug cover missing...grabbed the service manager...

"I'm missing a lug cover"

"It was missing when it came in sir."

"Dude, look at the car, do you honestly think I'd have anything missing on this car?"

"I'll be right back, lemme go find it"

Sure enough, it was on the tech's tool cart that did the wheels. On a side note, I miss my baby, almost put the Ram into a 360, thinking it was the T/A. [sm=smiley19.gif] She was a beauty...
