Before I got my 04 Neons I had a 01 Dakota with the 5.9L, I had a 3 inch cat back with a 2 chamber flowmaster and I did notice a diffference in pick up to mid range, plus it sounded bitchin

Actually, the loudest flowmaster is the Race Delta 10 Series (single chamber). I have the 40 series delta, and from what i hear the 40 has a deeper tone.

Well, heres a pic of the location of the tip..... sorry I didn't get more
The system fit together PERFECT...If the shop before me hadnt HACKED the old on one...it took 5 minutes ot get the old off with a SawZall..
MUCH smoother throttle response
quieter under throttle I think than before....
NICE rumble at idle

is there a difference between a single exit and dual exhaust sound-wise? What about performance wise?

Another thing not really related to this - what exactly is a 'cat back exhaust system' ?

I also have the 40 delta flow. I hear the 40 super is pretty much the same but has a deeper tone, is this true? And the regular 40, anyone know how loud it is inside the cab? I like the 40 delta flow but its not deep/loud enough for me inside and out. I've got dual exhaust 2.5" pipes (pretty sure) and 3" tips.
