Stupid Mother ****er
OK so friday night was my college graduation, so i drove my truck, parked it in the parking lot and went in. All was fine and dandy. Well when i was walking out to my truck after the ceremony i noticed the plastic below the taillight had a little corner busted out, so i got my flashlight out to take a better look at it. Well behind the wheel on the drivers side there was a huge dent on the lower part below the plastic/chrome trim. Some mother ****er backed into me and took off, left no insurance info, phone number, license number or anything. And of course none of the 500 people standing in the parking lot saw a dam thing. Who just bails like that?
Sorry for my venting but seriously who does that?

Samething happened back in the day to my dads truck. Brand new 1994 mark 3 dodge dakota 318 in it( it was fast) My brother took it to prom and someone backed into it and put a huge dent in the rear drivers side bed....My dad was pissed!!! You dont have full coverage on the ram?
Yeah i do. I just really don't want to claim it and have higher rates. My dad has a good friend that does body work so im bringing it out to his house this week. Its way at the bottom tho so theres no back panel behind it so im hoping he can work it out. If he tells me it has to be cut or or seriously expensive i'll probably claim it. But if its only a couple hundo I'd rather just pay out of my very shallow pockets
I have had this happen to me several times, once was my chevy, they backed into my grill guard, which bent back and broke my grill all to hell, Second was when My dad first got my current truck. Only kicker is we have hooks on the bumpers for our camper tiedowns. Who ever did it left some pieces behind but still managed to dent the rear box.

). It's never gone up since...even with the 4 deer I've hit [>:] And I claimed on every one of them...the one on my 99 Grand Prix was over $1,000 [:'(] And if I had been driving, it probably would've been more [8D]But it definitely shouldn't go up. My parents have made so many claims in the past year (for deer, and 1 hit & run), and they've never had their premiums go up either.
We go through American Family for our insurance, though I'm thinking of switching to State Farm. They treat you better (when it comes to what kind of parts they put on your vehicle) when you make a claim.
one of my highschool teachers did that to me. i proved who it was, scratch on his van with paint from my car, scratch on my car, they lined up perfectly. he had been parked across from me even.
i confronted the guy about it. showed him how it all lined up. and he still acted like he did not know what i was talking about [:@]

i totalled my '00 Jeep last year in an accident. It was my fault and nobody else was involved. The insurance company paid me $14K for it after my $500 deductible, and my rates never went up one penny. I go through USAA if that makes any difference. I would claim it if it is more than your deductible, especially since it ain't your fault. Good luck
