Does anyone know how to replace the A/C evaporator in a 1999 1500?? My A/C will not stay charged for more than 2 days and has been diagnosed as the a/c evaporator. I want to get this fixed before it gets to hot!

 

anyone else had this problem before? do you have to pull the dash to replace the evaporator? any advice is appreciated thanks

the dash does have to be pulled, would be a good thing to just go ahead and replace the heater core also while in there....thats what I did....I lucked out the used car stealer I bought it from got stuck doing it...only thing I paid for was the heater core
