Hey, I was just wondering, I see all these videos on the internet, of people driving diesel Rams, that just smoke like a freight train, and sound like 18 wheelers almost, just wondering, how would I be able to make my Ram sound like that? I noticed they have exhaust pipes comeing out of the bed, that have somethin to do with it?

you can run stacks(which i won't do) and it will sound like that or just straight pipe it. but you have to watch you laws to make sure you can still pass inspection. for the smoke it depends on the year 12 valve you can crank the pump for nothing. 24 valve as far as i know you will have to spend some money. hope this helps jared
Oh, I see, yeah it sounds pretty cool, the stacks I dont like so much though, I agree. I dont have a Ram just yet, I'd like to buy a diesel, but they cost so much, are they any better on gas then the diesels? here the Diesel is about 10 cents cheaper then regular gas.

A diesel will get about 10-20% better mileage than an equally equipped gas model...I would've gotten one, but didn't have the extra $3000-$5000 that they cost...a friend of mine bought an F-250 2wd diesel...1st few tanks were about 15mpg...spent $1000 on a programmer and turbo-back exhaust and upped it to an avg. of 21mpg. My next one will be a diesel.

My dad's '05 CTD Ram 2500 gets an average of 22MPG most of the time. It drops to around 18-19 MPG when pulling heavy loads. It is completely stock.

get a power banks exhaust system and bully power chip.. you'll have that thing smoking and running like a champ
