Hey guys I was wondering if anybody has experienced this problem or might know how to fix it. I was driving from Yuma to San Diego and the cruise was set at 75 with no problems at all until I statrted up through the mountains. What happened was with the cruise set, the trans would not downshift to maintain the speed automatically. I could press the gas pedal myself and make it downshift and then it would get back up to speed. Not really a big problem but more of an annoyance. Any help would be great.

 

Very rarely will my cruise draw the pedal down enough to downshift. I always have to help it along like you did. I'm on relatively flat road most of the time though.
