tie rod ends
tie rod ends on 95 1500...what parts do they acautlly consist of or other things i should replace while doing tie rod ends? hard/easy to do? expensive? special tools? do it yourself or have a mechanic do it?...anyone have ideas? thanks
2 or 4 wheel drive? check the front end by shaking it off the ground side to side see if anything moves (a knowlegable buddy is useful for this) then check the ball joints by prying up and down on them with no load on them (its kinda hard to explain but if you know what your doing its not) anything loose needs replaced some parts can be expansive but nothing a do it yourselfer can't do, they may be a bit rusty and hard to get off thought< also you will need a alignment afterwards and there usually 60$
