BAD NEWS what can it be
Ok well first some specs on my truck
1994 dodge ram 5.2 4x4
5"lift
36x12.5 superswampers
Well today i lent my truck to my cuzin, a little later a get a call and he tells me that the rear tires have locked up, he said just out of no where they did it. he then checked to see if it would move on 4wd and it moved a bit but then he heard a noise so stopped. i had it towed to a friend house. What do u all think it may be the rear gave out or my transfercase. ive had the tires fro around 2 mths and dont do more than 60 miles a week on this truck.

1) small *****
2) mental defect causing anti-social or pshycotic behavior
I suspect that if you really feel that way about a ford, you have a problem with both.

ok im still at work but had my friend do some tests at his house. i told him to take of the rear drive shafts and try to move it in N. he said that the truck still didnt want to move so im sure its the rear diff. Is this an easy fix and should i go ahead and get the 4.56 gears.

damn why are all the jack asses here when im not. they must know ill woop there ***. thanks for taking care of it derrick. yea man that sucks. i would definatly start with the rear. you might have blown the ring gear. if it moved in 4wd i dont think its the t case. i broke my rear shaft offroad and had to limp out of the trail on the front drive shaft only. wasnt fun and maked all kinds of wierd noises.
hah.. my friend tried burning out in reverse in his 95 gmc.. bent the tranny and pushed it up against the flywheel.. what an aweful sound that is having your flywheel rub up against metal [:'(]

I'd check out the differential first though. [:'(]
