Default 4:10 or 4:56 with a 29 or 30

Looking for some real world trucks...... I currently have a 2K sport with 3:55's and 285/75/16's. I am going to be dropping down to 285/60/16 for more of a summer street performance tire. My question is who has a similiar tire in height (29-30) that is running 4:10 or 4:56's and are you happy with Hwy and around town? I have used all the calculators and looked at RPMs but I am looking for real world performance. I live in Michigan where speed limit is 70 (80 ). I will be buying shortly and right now i am leaning towards the 4:10's. I am not really concerned about gas mileage

Thanks for any input

4.56's= Quicker, but worse fuel economy

4.10's= Still decently quick, but better fuel economy than the 4.56's

And if you want the best fuel economy, probably stick with the 3.55's

you should be fine with 4.10's the 4.56 would be complete over kill for that size tire

I have 4:10's and 33"s. Thats probably what I'd go with. Not the quickest but not bad either and does well on the highway.

My OffRoad Sport came with 4.10's and 275 70 R17 tires, and it rocks. I run a 265 70 R17 winter tires and those are even more fun. My MPG dies in the winter b/c of the smaller tires and the gears.

Thanks guys.............I have my answer...... I am thinking with the 4.10's i will have a good hole shot and will still be able to go to the track and stay in the power band for the motor. I appreciate everyone's feedback......
