6 inch lift i need your help
hey i have a 95 ram but the sport model... and i want to put the smallest lift to fit 35 x 12.5 or a little bit wider. i have heard that if you put on a 6" lift you need to do a lot of rewelding. also the transfer case has to be tilted of lifted. i need your opinions real soon because i will need to sell my quad to buy it im selling a bombardier ds650 baja and i live in jersey so if interested get back to me im asking $4100 thanks alot ~john
6" is the highest you can go before any major mods are needed. Nothng will have to be done to the transfer case and I dont know what you thought you had to weld.
a 5 inch skyjacker complete bolt on kit will clear 35's. thats what i have now. look in my gallery for some pics. it will run you alittle over 1,000. also where in Jersey are you.

Probably the FabTech kit. The lower arm gets relocated...
i was just talking to one of my buddies down at one of the shops.. anything over 6" will require more mods, anything less, not so bad, but there's still brakelines, etc that need to be adjusted..
the overall 'book'time that is required for some lifts are 10-12 hrs, but some can get it done in 8
