Default Coil-Spring Spacers

Hi. Im thinking of getting a coil spring spacer kit for my Ram. Its a 2wd and I was wondering what amount of lift will level the truck out nicely and even possibly what size tires I will be able to fit in the front. I heard that 1 1/2 inches will level the front with the back. I was also hoping for some input on people who have done this. I am thinking of going with Daystar suspension or Rough Country. How were the insttructrions with these kits and how hard was the install? Thanks a lot

the 2" leveling kit will level the front with the back. most shops will say you can only fit 31x10.50's but with a linttle cutting of some un-needed plastic you can get 33's under there. with a leveling kit and a 3" body lift you can fit 35's no problem

you should always get your tires re-aligned after a lift.. but i have a 3 inch lift on mine and havent gotten around to it yet.. and its been about 3 months now and i still havent noticed any uneven tread wear... rough country or daystar.. both are good and cheap in price.. i went with a 3 inch rough country lift for mine but most go with daystar for leveling.. also.. im assuming you have 245's on your truck right now?? with a 2 inch lift i'd say no bigger then a 285.. (32 1/2 inches or so)

I'll go with Daystar then. Yes I do have 245's and I was hoping to get some 285's. Don't want any bigger. Thanks for all the help. How much is an alignment?

the shocks will be fine. daystar recomends that you change the upper balljoints due to the fact they will be a little stressed, but i havent heard of anybody having problems with that.

Okay. Im going with Rough Country because the only place I can find the 2inch of Daystar is on summit for double Rough Country. I'll have to stick with the stock ball-joints for now because I gotta lay down some cash for a floor jack as well. Thanks for all your help
