Years ago when they first came out I jumped on the bandwagon and bought and TB spacer. I know...I know, it is true, there is no gains with these things. Anyways I found a use for it. I put a body lift on my truck a couple of weeks ago and just now I am getting the chance to put my CAI back on. Put everything back together and wham...it don't fit. So I had to use my TB spacer to lift the TB up so my CAI would fit. This is going to be temporary though until I can fabricate something to make it fit better. I may get the bores on the TB spacer milled so there will be nothing to slow the air down. Not sure what to do yet. I know I have to fab and new air box and maybe a flex hose for the CAI. I will ponder some ideas.

 

that is about the only use for the spacer... keep the CAI on with the spacer...
