MANY people have spent hundreds (and in some cases thousands) of dollars trying to get the V10 to sound "good". Very few have reached their goal of doing so. After all the different systems (both custom and pre-made) were tried, the consensus has been that the gibson swept side exhaust has the best sound.

It's not a dual exhaust, but it sounds better than the systems that have been tried. In all honesty, there isn't much to be gained from a cat-back exhaust on the V10 other than sound. The only restriction in the stock system is the muffler. Money is better spent on a set of headers Just a suggestion.

I am running the Gibsons side swept cat back system on my truck and love the sound outta it. Finally doesnt sound like a starving cheeta. It isnt too loud, but gets to be just right around 2500 rpm.

And was cheaper to ship that kit up here to Canada then to replace with stock

PS. the exhaust tip is shiney too. I like shiney things

I'm running dual flow masters and don't like the sound--it sounds like a v-6 sometimes.

I was thinking about going with the dual flowmasters myself. What series are you running, the 40 or 50? I aslo heard if we wanted to get the rumble that the V8's get then a high performance cam or just a bigger cam was the only way to get it. Either way, my V10 has a low rumble to it being stock and sounds pretty nice. The duals should help it breath easier too. The only other upgrade for her will be the fastman throttle body....but in another month or so. Have you noticed an increase in performance since you had it done, better gas mileage, better throttle response?
