Default damage to clear coat

What can I use to get "swirl marks" out of clear coat on the hood? Is there an easy product/method or am I looking at a refinish?

If the clear coat is still thick enough, you can wet sand it. Then buff it out.

I use a fine cut polish with a high speed buffer. It will get mild swirl marks out. You could try a fine cut rubbing compound first then do the polish and that might help. I know useing those two got alot of my small scratches and imperfections out of my paint. I also have a high speed buffer, it helps make the difference.
