I was wondering i like the look of the white face gauges but i havent found any online i like. I really like the ones on the 3rd gen trucks and was wondering if its possible to make them work on my 2nd gen truck?? Any i ideas Thanks Guys.

 

Dont ask me but I agree the white face are sharper and easier to see in my opinion. If they do fit I would love to get one for my new 99 ram.

the amount of modification required to get them to fit and look right... along with wiring.. it could be a nightmare!

I agree with shott...the amount of modification and wiring that it would take would be too much to be worth it for white face gauges. Especially since overlays are available.

 

yea i agree. i love my over lays and they looks so good.

 

Tani how much werethe overlays and where did you get them? I was not born perfect and I have crap eyes the white in my dads 06 mega cab is so mcuh easier for me to see.

 

i bought them for like 11 buxs on ebay

 

How difficult are those overlays to put on? What is involved?

 

basicly, take a part the cluster, slip them over. drill holes in the back of the gauge housing, run wires , though, put everything back together and hook them up. then figure out how to get power to them and how to shut them on and off.
