Hey dodge bro's

I got a question for a friend of mine who has a 2000 Ram 1500 4x4 Ext Cab short bed with the 5.2 and 89k miles

Since his last oil change aprox 5k ago he lost approx 1 qt of oil i was reading some posts here and just wanted to get all of your opinions of what you think it is.
I think the the plenum gasket but just wanted to get your guys opinions on it.

Does it ping at all when it is under load or let off a puff of blue smoke when you start it up? My guess would be the plenum. when the plenum goes you usually can feel a loss of power, it will ping, and also give you a rough idle. To check if it is the plenum just open the butterflies in the throttle body and look down into the intake to see if there is any oil pooling in, it is normal, though, to have a thin layer (film) of oil, because of the breather that returns to the air hat.
