I just ordered Gibson extreme dual for my 06 4.7L Dakota and would like to get a nice performance exhaust for my fathers 2500 V10. Has anyone installed a performace exhaust system on one? He would like a "bolt" on system, does not want to cut his mufflers out and weld new ones in. He pulls a camper and does not want it coming out the back, like mine he wants it out behind the wheels. Any suggestion would be great!!! Thanks!!! Please PM me!

 

Gibson makes a swept side exhaust for the V10. One member on here has it installed.

In my opinion, it's the best sounding cat-back system for the V10.

Get the super truck series from Gibson

 

The super truck series isn't available for the V10 Only the HEMIs when you get into the 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks.

 

I have the gibsons side swept exhaust on my V-10. I installed it in my garage with minimal hand tools (mostly because I could not wait one more night to put it on at work with a hoist and all). I like how it sounds, it is very very quiet till around 2500 rpm. It is not loud, but has a low tone to it. I do haul my camper with it on and you know its there, but not rattling and shaking your ear drums out.
