2004 dodge ram 20" wheels on a 1998 dodge ram
Does anyone out there know if there is a compatability issue with mounting factory dodge ram 20" wheels from a 2004 ram on a 1998 ram pickup? I was able to mount the rear ones with no issues at all but then when I went to mount the front ones it seems like the back of the wheel doesn't quite go all of the way onto the hub. There is a raised portion at the very back of the hub closest to the rotor that seems to keep the wheel from going on all of the way.
Has anyone had this problem and if so what is the fix? Also, the cap for the wheel bearings comes out through the side of the wheel causing you not to be able to use the factory center cap for the wheel. Is there a work around for this too? I know that I have seen these wheels on older dodge pickups so there must be a solution somewhere.
Thanks in advance for any help that anyone might be able to provide!

This has been discussed several times before, and so far nobody has found a work-around for the dust cap problem. It only effects 2wd Rams. Other than that, the rims fit correctly...and without any issues at all on 4wd trucks.
I'm not sure why you're having a problem with your rotor. [>:]

So are you saying that the wheels usually bolt up with no problems on a 2WD truck and that the only problem is with the dust cap sticking out of the side of the wheel? I appreciate the feedback!
