Default can any body help

I have a 96 dodge 4x4 2500 360 auto that I am working on for my brother and this is what he wants to do to the truck, Pull a 4 horse qoose neck trailer. Can anybody tell me were to get the computer upgraded or what other mods (cheap, because he is so tight you could not get an elephant to f*$# a rabbit in his case) can be done. thanks

Almost any computer upgrade is going to require the use of PREMIUM fuel. If he's tight, a computer upgrade might not be the mod to do

if he doesnt want to drop money on a programmer than theres no mod that will give him anything worth putting in the truck

No programmer for the 96 models He doesn't even have a choice there. The only choices for the pre-97s are a PCM flash or a Mopar Perf. PCM (which is no longer being made)...both of which would require premium fuel.

There aren't really any cheap mods that will help with pulling a horse trailer. Not sure what the 3/4 ton V8 gassers came with as far as exhaust, but running 2.5" pipe and a higher flow muffler would help. Headers would help, but that's not exactly a cheap mod. The 50mm Fastman is somewhat cheap. A K&N drop-in. A gear upgrade if he has the 3.55s, but again that wouldn't be cheap either.
