Body lifts?
I have a 3" suspension lift, but it dont look good at the wheel wells.like it still to close since i put 33" tires on. so i was wondering if i should get a 3" body lift and if that would cure my looks, but only prob is where do i get it?what kind is good? where can it get put on? and what about the space between the bumper and body? i dont wanna have to lift the bumper up.
i have a 3 inch suspension lift with 285's too.. i think it looks perfect how it is.. another 3 inches would make the tires look way to small.. if your going to go another 3 inches look into getting 315's.. but its really up to you. preformance accessories will probally be the best.. you wont really notice a gap at all since dodge frames sit so high in the body anyway compared to chevys.. if you dont want to lift the bumper you dont have to. i think they come with front bumper brackets to raise the front but not the back.. its really no big deal if you dont want to lift the back its pretty hard to notice a body lift on dodges
I agree. The 285s on my truck look a bit too small, and my truck just has the stock V10/CTD suspension. Don't go for more lift unless you you're gonna go bigger in tires (and up numerically in gear ratio)
Just my opinion though.

ugh this guy that lives near me has a chevy and a body lift.. can see OVER the frame and UNDER the body... ugh it's ugly... i hate seeing frame..
remember enough frame twist with those body lifts and you can seperate the body from the frame. yes they have gotten better but it still can happen. bolts do fatigue and break.

It's entirely up to you as far as if you should put on a body lift or not. You can look at my pics and others that have it in their sig. to see if you will be concerned with the looks. It isn't as bad as some make it out to be, unless you beat the he!! out of the truck. Which will break stuff anyway. The PA kit has a front bumper relocation bracket in the kit. The rear is as simple as drilling a few holes. Don't waste the money on the rear bumper relocation bracket.
But this is just my opinion, and we all have one. Some just smell worse than others. If you decide to get one, Performance Accessories makes a good body lift.
